Issue with a garage door opener. Sometimes does not fully close, sometimes does not fully open.
Garage door openers are complicated since they operate via both electrical components and hardware. Therefore, it can take time to locate the problem. In this case, however, we quickly ascertained that the garage door opener logic board wasn’t functioning properly. We removed the old board, replacing it with a new model from the same manufacturer. Then we reprogrammed the remote and reset the travel limit settings. This solved the problem.
